How to Make Homemade Baby Food - Recipe 1

Sweet potato, Zucchini & Carrot

 

 

 

INGREDIENT QUANTITY for 7 cubes NUMBER / SIZE
Sweet Potato 250 grams
1 small
Zucchini
250 grams
1 medium
Carrot
250 grams
1 medium

 


 

Kumara/Sweet Potato Preparation:

  1. Peel and wash kumara, then dice.
  2. Lightly steam or place in a small saucepan with 2-3 tablespoons of boiling water and simmer gently with lid on until tender. Allow to cool. Puree with blender or food processor.
  3. Place portions into mumi&bubi tray and freeze.


Carrot Preparation:

  1. Peel and wash carrots, discard ends, then slice.
  2. Lightly steam or place in a small saucepan with 2-3 tablespoons of boiling water and simmer gently with lid on until tender. Allow to cool. Puree with blender or food processor.
  3. Place portions into mumi&bubi tray and freeze.


Courgettes/Zucchini Preparation: 

  1. Wash courgettes, discard ends, then slice.
  2. Lightly steam or place in a small saucepan with 2-3 tablespoons of boiling water and simmer gently with lid on until tender. Allow to cool. Puree with blender or food processor.
  3. Place portions into mumi&bubi tray and freeze.

 

Tip: To make smoother purees add water from the saucepan or breast milk while blending
